At the invitation of the Russian side,inter-ministerial political consultations were held today in Moscow. The delegation of the Republic of Moldova was headed by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Tatiana Molcean, and the Russian delegation was headed by the Russian Deputy State Secretary, Deputy Foreign Minister GrigoryKarasin. During the talks, the parties considered some issues of bilateral relations, in particular the cooperation in the field of legal assistance, as well as other important topics on the agenda of interstate relations. In addition, the parties discussed the issues that high-ranking officials and other officials faced during their business trips in the Russian Federation. The parties will continue to work together to overcome these complications. The parties reaffirmed the need to continue the political dialogue at different levels in order to eliminate difficulties and problems arising in bilateral relations and to mutually beneficial cooperation. The heads of delegations reviewed topics of trade and economic cooperation that are of interest to both parties, including organizing and holding a meeting of the co-chairs of the joint intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation. The draft intergovernmental agreements on cooperation in the field of labor migration and readmission, as well as the Humanitarian Cooperation Program were considered. Source: Noi.md
