A new bill on the special status of the territories of Donbas not controlled by Kyiv will be developed after the meeting of the Normandy Four, said the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov on the ICTV channel. According to him, this is the position of both the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the majority of the Rada MPs. At the same time, Razumkov noted that parliament and Ukrainian society would participate in the preparation of the draft law. “Without involving all of the above mentioned structures, it will be very difficult to do. The President talked about this and to lead some backstage or undercover development of various bills - this means to violate the promises made to the Ukrainian society,” the speaker said. Razumkov was also surprised that the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko considers the Rada’s work on the development of a bill on the special status of Donbas ineffective. November 17, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the cornerstone issue for Ukraine is the law on the special status of Donbas. Normandy meeting will take place on December 9 in Paris. Lenta
