In his speech, the Prime Minister Ion Chicu noted that since the entry into force of the Free Trade Agreement between Moldova and Turkey, the business environment in our country has gained access to an important market, which employs about 80 million consumers: “The agreement increased the volume of trade between countries during the first 9 months of 2019, amounting to $ 482 million, and the bilateral trade deficit decreased by $ 37 million due to an increase in the value of exports from Moldova to Turkey.” The Prime Minister noted the high performance of the Turkish industry and the Turkish research and development sector: “Recently I read about a 100% electric vehicle designed in Turkey and the goal of developing an appropriate national infrastructure by 2022. This is a topic of great interest to us and we invite business to apply technology in the Republic of Moldova”.
