Despite the creation of the ruling coalition, there are disagreements among socialists and democrats on a number of issues. This was stated by the PDM faction chairman Dumitru Diacov on air of the program “V Centre Vnimanija” (“In the Spotlight”) on Publika TV. He made it clear that the contradictions are surmountable, but did not go into details, publika.md reports. According to another guest of the program, PSRM deputy Vasile Bolea, it was the situation with the spread of coronavirus that served as a catalyst for creating a coalition between socialists and democrats. At the same time, he admits: the new ministers have little time to delve into all the problems. On Monday, the PSRM and PDM signed an agreement to create a parliamentary majority and founded the Social Democratic Platform for Moldova. The Cabinet included five new ministers. Cristina Lesnic took the post of Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration. The Ministry of Defense was headed by the former head of the ISU, Alexandru Pinzari, and Oleg Tulea became the head of the MFAEI. Igor Sarov was appointed the new Minister of Education, Culture and Research, and the Ministry of Economics and Infrastructure is managed by Sergey Railean.
