MP from the Pro Moldova party, Vladimir Cebotari, believes that Andrian Candu was deliberately prevented from participating in the election race. He stated this during the Glavnoye program on TVC21. The program host noted numerous claims about Candu’s personal unwillingness to participate in the elections. “This is a theory of conspiracy, fairy tales and invented stories. We wanted to participate in the elections. Signatures were collected in many districts, commission stated insignificant remarks that were omitted in relation to other candidates. We were removed from the race, while they don’t notice anything in others, and if they do notice, they sign a protocol,” Cebotari said. “Tell me, what was the point of removing Andrian Candu, since his rating is not the highest one?” the host asked. “We could gain 6-7% and take away votes including from the PDM, which hasn’t nominated its candidates. And in the second round, the votes go to those who are determined by the candidates who didn’t enter the second round. Candu’s participation in the elections was not to the advantage of Dodon and PDM,” the politician added.
