US presidential candidate Joe Biden believes that Russia threatens the security of his country and is trying to destroy the alliances of the United States with other states. Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden considers Russia the main threat to the country in the global political arena. The politician said this on Sunday, October 25, in an interview with CBS TV channel. "I think the biggest threat to the United States in terms of violating our security and our alliances is Russia," Biden said on the 60 Minutes program. In the same interview, the former US vice president said that "Putin is doing his best" to spread misinformation about him. At the same time, Biden called China the most serious competitor for his country. As for the current US President Donald Trump, in his opinion, China is the main threat to the United States in the world. "They are opponents, they are competitors, they are in many ways enemies," the dpa agency quoted Trump as saying about China. Among other things, Trump blames the PRC for spreading coronavirus on the planet and calls the virus itself "Chinese." Trump's attitude towards Russia is controversial. On the one hand, according to the American intelligence services, Russia could be involved in helping Trump get elected by means of hacker attacks on Trump's 2016 rival, Hillary Clinton’s headquarters computers. On the other hand, the Trump government has imposed a number of sanctions on Russia.
