Igor Dodon said this in his "President Answering" program, stressing that the year will be difficult. "We are much stronger now; our faction is twice as large as it was before. We have 21 district chairmen, we have almost 250 city mayors. We are now more prepared and will be able to protect citizens’ interests," Dodon said. He added that today's active political agenda in parliament is proof. "2 years ago, such an agenda was impossible. There was Plahotniuc, then we used to form a coalition with the ACUM bloc, who did not agree to accept the initiatives. Then we used to form a coalition with the Democrats. Now, we do not form any coalition, so everyone votes the he/she wants to. And we will have a tough political agenda to defend your interests," Dodon said. Answering the question what awaits Moldova after December 24, Dodon stressed that "the year will be difficult." "Everything will not be simple. There is no coordinated position and unified teamwork among the country's leadership. Now we are working harmoniously with the speaker and the prime minister. After December 24, most likely, there will be no such coordinated work. Citizens will lose from. I will do my best. The next year will not be easy. It is already clear that this will be an electoral year, there will be elections. Before the elections there will be an electoral, political war. Then there will be elections: in May or September. Then it will take 2-3 months to find a common language and form a new government. The whole next year will be unstable. But I am sure that together we will get through it. We went through a year together to expel Plahotniuc and this difficult year with: coronavirus, drought, elections. I am sure that we will pass the next year as well, I will be with you. The main thing is that everyone is healthy," Dodon concluded.
