On the evening of January 2, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine published the first list of countries in the "red zone" for 2021.  The document is dated December 30, 2020 and includes 49 states, upon returning from which to Ukraine it is necessary to undergo quarantine or take a coronavirus test, avianews.com informed.  Compared to the previous version of the list, the current one has increased by four points. Six states entered the red zone: Poland, Italy, Israel, Monaco, Lebanon and Colombia. Armenia and Bulgaria are in the green zone. Turkey, popular among Ukrainians, remains on the red list. In the green zone are Belarus, Russia, as well as the UAE, Dominican Republic, Maldives, Egypt, Tanzania, open to tourists from Ukraine.  This time, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has reduced the incidence rate for the country to be included in the red list from 374 to 315.3 cases of COVID-19 per 100 thousand population over the past 2 weeks.  Entry rules to Ukraine  Ukraine allows entry into the country for both its citizens and foreigners and stateless persons. Foreigners must have medical insurance with them, which covers treatment, including for COVID-19.  Everyone arriving in Ukraine from countries of the green zone should not undergo quarantine. If a person arrives from a country in the red zone, he/she must go through 14 days of self-isolation.  To end self-isolation, a traveler can undergo a PCR test for coronavirus in Ukraine or provide the result of such an analysis made no more than 48 hours before entering Ukraine. The condition for the termination of quarantine is a negative test result, which confirms that the person is not sick.  The quarantine rules are the same for all visitors and depend on the zone in which the country the traveler is from is located.
