Tomorrow, January 19, PSRM will send two requests to the Constitutional Court (CC). This stated PSRM Chairman Igor Dodon at a press briefing on Monday, January 18, after the meeting of the Executive Committee of the political formation, tv8.md reported. The first notice will concern the deadline within which President Maia Sandu is required to nominate a candidate for the post of prime minister. The second notice from the socialists will concern the sanctions that may threaten Maia Sandu if she refuses to nominate a candidate for the post of chief executive. Also, at the briefing, Igor Dodon said that the socialists categorically demand nominating a candidate for the post of prime minister by February 1. "Act, Madam President. We demand nominating a candidate before February 1. Why until February 1? Because the session of parliament is to open. You have 2 weeks," Dodon said.
