Zinaida Greceanii, PM of the Party of Socialists (PSRM), will lead the faction of the Communists and Socialists Bloc in the parliament. PSRM’s Deputy Vasile Bolea said this on Radio Moldova, noting that the bloc would announce this a decision at a parliamentary session on July 29.
According to Bolea, Zinaida Greceanii will be the faction chairperson of the Communists and Socialists Bloc. The faction will also have two vice- chairperson, who will be Corneliu Furculita and Constantin Staris. Vasile Bolea noted that he will take the post of faction secretary.
The PSRM’s deputy said that, according to Parliament Standing Orders, the faction of the Communists and Socialists Bloc will also be able to delegate the Deputy Chairperson of the Parliament. However, he did not name who it would be.
Bolea also said that on July 27, the deputies of all three parties in parliament during an informal meeting discussed the distribution and number of parliamentary commissions and the composition of international parliamentary delegations.
As noted by Bolea, there were some disagreements during the discussion.
“We have listened to our colleagues. We do not agree with some of the views and understand that in some ways the law is not observed. Tomorrow, if our colleagues wish, we will discuss it again,” said Bolea.
Recall, on July 27, the deputy of the party "Action and Solidarity" (PAS) Sergei Litvinenko said that the opposition will head three of the 11 parliamentary commissions. In addition, according to Litvinenko, two PM of the PAS and one deputy of the Communists and Socialists Bloc will become vice-speakers of parliament. PAS representatives also told when the deputies will elect the leadership of the parliament.
