Orban: Romania is ready to strengthen support for Moldova through important projects

Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu held a telephone conversation with Ludovic Orban, Chairperson of the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament. During the discussion, the parties agreed on the development of inter-parliamentary relations in several directions, as deschide.md reports. “I am confident that during our tenure, the relationship between the two fundamental institutions will reach the highest level of cooperation since independence. Romania has been and remains a supporter of democratic processes in the Republic of Moldova and has always come to the aid of our citizens in the most difficult moments,” Grosu wrote. Grosu added that during the discussion he received assurances that “Romania is ready to significantly strengthen support for the Republic of Moldova through important projects aimed at improving the living standards of people on the left bank of the Prut”.
