Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita held a telephone conversation with Romanian Prime Minister Florin Citu last evening.

At the same time, Natalia Gavrilita thanked the Romanian government for the support provided to the Republic of Moldova, including for the donation of diesel fuel, vaccines against COVID, equipment, but especially for supporting the European course of the Republic of Moldova.
The Prime Ministers also agreed to start preparations for a joint meeting of the governments in Chisinau.
Another issue raised was the renewal and extension of the intergovernmental agreement on gratuitous technical assistance. The parties agreed to set up a technical working group to prepare the agreement.
Florin Citu expressed his full support for the new government in Chisinau, instructing to start work on the entire agenda of bilateral cooperation in the spirit of strategic partnership for the European integration of the Republic of Moldova.
