The regulations on the basis of which the activities of the suspended Prosecutor General Alexander Stoianoglo will be evaluated were developed by the Minister of Justice Sergiu Litvinenco. In general, the Commission will be guided by eight main criteria. Among them are the managerial efficiency of the Stoianoglo and the ways of communication of the institution. The official told about this on the air of the program “In the Spotlight” on Publika TV. On November 18, the document will be considered at a meeting of the Supreme Council of Prosecutors, reports publika.md “There should be an efficiency report for each criterion. They were not developed by the Ministry of Justice, so that there would be no confusion – I personally developed them, in addition, I consulted with someone from the Council members. One of the criteria is communication methods, there are several indicators for the results achieved, the other is efficiency, managerial skills will be tested. In a word, there are several criteria”, Litvinenco said. The decision to assess the activities of the suspended Prosecutor General Alexander Stoianoglo was made by the Supreme Court of Justice on Thursday at the request of President Maia Sandu. She motivated her move by the need to strengthen public confidence in the prosecutor's office, which, in her opinion, was compromised. The Head of State accuses Stoianoglo of the lack of results, in particular in high-profile cases, during the period when he was in office. If the assessment of his work is unsatisfactory, the Supreme Court of Justice will propose to the president to dismiss the Prosecutor General.
