The day before, the operator of Ukraine’s gas transportation system promised to stop the transit
Gazprom has reached an agreement with Ukraine to transport 72 million cubic meters of gas for May 11.
The day before, Ukraine’s gas transmission system operator promised to stop transit through one of the compressor stations seized by pro-Russian separatists.
Gas has been diverted via a different route, the Russian state corporation said.
According to Interfax, Gazprom and the Ukrainian GTS agreed that transit would continue on May 11 through the Suja gas metering station which remains under Ukrainian control.
Transit through the seized Sohranovka gas metering station has been suspended.
