Moldova and Ukraine will continue cooperation in the economic and energy sectors, as well as in the field of European integration. This was stated by Moldovan President Maia Sandu after a meeting with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky today, reports tv8.md “Our countries’ citizens deserve a peaceful and prosperous life in the family of the European Union states, and we are obliged to offer them such a future,” Sandu said. At the same time, she assured that Moldova will continue to support Ukrainian refugees in our country. “We will strengthen the transport and transit capacity in Moldova to organize freight corridors into and out of Ukraine. It is our moral duty as neighbors and friends to help them,” the head of state stressed. As noted by the presidential administration, Sandu “expressed her admiration for the courage with which Ukrainians defend their homeland from Russian aggression,” assuring that Moldova supports Ukraine. Today, Maia Sandu visited Kyiv at the personal invitation of her Ukrainian colleague Volodymyr Zelensky. On the trip the head of state was accompanied by Minister of Infrastructure Andrei Spinu, Presidential Advisor Dorin Recean and State Secretary of the MFAEI Ruslan Bolbocean. Sandu visited the war-ravaged cities of the Kyiv region – Bucha, Irpin and Borodianka. Point
