President Maia Sandu is in Bucharest, where she held talks with her Romanian counterpart Klaus Johannis.
After the meeting, the two heads of state held a press conference, where they also answered questions about the security situation in the region, realitatea.md reports.
The Moldovan president said that if Russia attempts to attack us, our country will ask for help. At the same time, she did not specify what kind of support Moldova would ask for and from whom.
“We are concerned and we admit all scenarios, including the most pessimistic ones. We brace ourselves for all scenarios. In a situation where Russia tries to attack Moldova, it is obvious that we will seek aid,” Sandu said.
