Sandu Convenes Meeting of National Commission for European Integration

The head of state convenes a meeting of the National Commission for European Integration today, January11. Members of the Commission will sum up the 2022 progress in implementing the Action Plan to meet the conditions put before Moldova as a candidate country for EU accession, zdg.md reports. European integration priorities for this year will also be discussed, the Presidential Administration said. Earlier, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Nicu Popescu said there was “visible progress” on the Roadmap on implementing the nine measures proposed by the European Commission (EC). In some cases, according to the minister, there has been a slight delay, but “most of them have been carried out”, and they are just waiting for their publication in the Monitorul Oficial.
