President Maia Sandu’s message at the World Economic Forum in Davos, in which she asked her partners for anti-aircraft missile systems, is correct. This is the opinion of Stefan Gligor, Chairman of the Party of Changes. According to the politician, Moldova must strengthen its defense potential in order to be able to defend its territorial integrity, reports ipn.md. The Chairman of the Party of Changes notes that Russia should be deprived of the chance to violate Moldova’s airspace. “Moldova is completely open in terms of airspace protection. You are taken seriously, and the aggressor no longer launches missiles at you knowing that you can shoot them down. If we want to protect our territorial integrity, we have to have these operational capabilities. President Maia Sandu’s message is correct. It does not mean that we are going to wage war with someone, it means that we want our airspace to be respected, and that missiles that kill people should not fly over us,” Stefan Gligor stressed in the Cabinetul din umbra on JurnalTV.
