The Moldovan Parliament is due to pass several laws in the coming period that should help strengthen the state’s sustainability and security. PAS MP, member of the National Security, Defense and Public Order Commission Andrian Cheptonaru said this in a broadcast on TVR Moldova. “In the area of strengthening national security, we have two draft laws that are on Parliament’s agenda. These are the framework law on the Information and Security Service and the law on foreign counter-information and information activities. There are laws that regulate several things in the field of intelligence in Moldova. They are meant to give the Information and Security Service certain powers to protect national interests and state security,” Andrian Cheptonaru said.
