NATO Secretary General says that Putin is “preparing to continue the war. Ukraine’s Western allies have sent 65 billion euros of military aid to help Kyiv resist a full-scale Russian invasion, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said, noting that the alliance is preparing to send more aid with no peace talks in sight. “We cannot allow Russia further undermining European security,” Jens Stoltenberg said at a press conference in Brussels. “There are no signs that [Russian President Vladimir] Putin is preparing for peace,” the NATO Secretary General added. “He is preparing to continue the war.” NATO foreign ministers met in Brussels on Tuesday to discuss ways of “increasing support, including through further strengthening of Ukraine’s armed forces,” Jens Stoltenberg said. “Our support is designed for the long term,” he concluded.
