Vlad Batrincea after Change of PSRM Leadership: We Will Bring More Surprises

Vlad Batrincea, leader of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM), said that the PSRM would bring many more surprises in the context of Igor Dodon’s return to the party leadership. “Experts have been trying to bury the PSRM for many years, but you will see that the team is moving consolidated forward, and you will see surprises,” he said in an interview for Vocea Basarabiei TV, as tribuna.md reports. The politician also said that it was his decision to nominate Igor Dodon for the position of PSRM Executive Secretary. “I remain in the leadership, but at the same time I showed an example that the position is not important, I worked in different positions,” the MP mentioned. Regarding the PSRM candidate for the position of the capital mayor, Vlad Batrincea said they have discussions so far. “Yes, I stay among the candidates, but at the right moment we will make a decision,” he added. Vlad Batrincea noted that Igor Dodon is also not excluded as a candidate. “We will share more surprises, including Chisinau,” the PSRM leader concluded.
