“In the near future we will make a proposal to appoint a NAC new director. The expectations of the Parliament and the entire society from the NAC are very clear:
- increasing the speed of corruption investigations;
- stopping illicit financial flows;
- ensuring the integrity of the institution by accelerating the reform of the National Anti-Corruption Centre and purging the institution of harmful practices and persons,” the speaker’s statement says.
Iulian Rusu has not yet commented on his resignation from the post.
