Gherman: Referendum Results Instantly Become Law

There will be no vote on amending the Constitution in Parliament and the result of the referendum instantly becomes law. This was stated by Deputy Speaker of Parliament Doina Gherman in the Rezoomat programme on Rlive TV. “There will be no need for a vote in parliament because that is the essence of a constitutional republican referendum, it is about a vote of the people and it is above any bill passed in parliament. So, the result of the referendum instantly becomes law,” Doina Gherman said.
