MPs from the Communist and Socialist Bloc today filed a vote of no confidence resolution against the policies of the Ministry of Education and Research headed by Dan Perciun. The decision is taken a week after the BCS faction took a similar stance on the Health Ministry’s policy, reports ipn.md. “The simple resolution expresses a vote of no confidence in the policies promoted by the MER led by Dan Perciun, noting the failures related to the content of textbooks criticized for errors and misinterpretations,” said BCS MP Alla Darovannaia. The MP accused the MER of inefficient management of public financial resources, which, according to her, is reflected in the reports of the competent bodies. She also pointed to the lack of effective policies regarding teachers’ salaries and the adaptation of the education system to modern requirements. Last week, the BCS filed a simple vote of no confidence resolution against the policies of the Ministry of Health headed by Ala Nemerenco. The opposition cites mismanagement resulting in deaths. It has been scheduled on the parliamentary agenda for consideration between 20 and 28 February.
