Independent MP Olesea Stamate revealed that she had received several offers to join various political initiatives, but has not made any decisions yet. “I received several messages of support and invitations to join certain political projects. I won’t reveal any names here – that would be inappropriate. For now, the discussions have been limited to messages in which I expressed my gratitude for the support,” the MP said in an interview with Cinema 1, as reported by noi.md. Stamate emphasized that she has not yet made a decision about her political future. “I tell everyone the same thing: I have not yet made a decision about my political future – whether I will stay in politics or not. Once I make that decision, then perhaps we can talk about it,” she said. When asked about a possible return to the PAS, the former head of the parliamentary commission said that although the principle of “never say never” applies in politics, she rules out such a scenario at this stage. “Let’s say I don’t know what will happen in three or four months. At this stage, the way certain decisions were presented, the way they were made and communicated, and the way they were implemented keeps me from considering a return to the PAS faction,” she said. As for the possibility of running in the upcoming elections, Stamate says she has not yet made a decision. “I have not yet made a decision regarding my political activity overall. I will probably make a decision in the near future. But right now, the most important thing is to clarify all aspects of this much-discussed Amnesty Law for the citizens — everything is clear to me, but it needs to be clarified for the public,” Stamate noted.
