Another 14 parties are currently undergoing a status clarification process. The Public Services Agency must provide the necessary documents, after which the Central Election Commission (CEC) will make a decision regarding these parties’ eligibility to participate in the elections. At the same time, the CEC notes that there are ongoing court proceedings concerning three political parties – “Chance”, “Power of Alternative and Salvation of Moldova”, and “Renaissance” – regarding the suspension or dissolution of their activities. The CEC considered it reasonable to include the 14 parties in the list of election participants with the caveat that their right to run may be revoked if the Public Services Agency refuses to issue a favorable administrative conclusion and/or a final court decision is issued to dissolve or restrict the activities of the mentioned parties.
