Home / Politics / Sanduta after Plahotniuc’s Arrest: “Time to Shed Light on Important Matters”
Former judge Victoria Sanduta commented on Vladimir Plahotniuc’s arrest in Greece, expressing hope that he will be brought to the Republic of Moldova to testify in several high-profile cases.
In the Gonța Media program, Victoria Sanduta stated that the former leader of the Democrats could help clarify some aspects related to the “billion theft” and emphasized that society needs clear answers, as reported by stiri.md.
“It’s very good that Vladimir Plahotniuc has been arrested. We are all waiting for him to come home to clarify the further circumstances. Let him testify in the Dodon case and tell us what was in that bag: tomatoes, cucumbers, money, or maybe souvenirs. Let him come and shed light on the situation,” said Sanduta.
Victoria Sanduta added that she is closely following the developments: “I’m very glad that he’s been arrested. I’m waiting for his statements. I’m keeping an eye on everything that happens next, like a new season of a Netflix series.”
