Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Russia agrees that Ukraine’s security guarantees should be provided on an equal basis with the participation of China, the United States, the United Kingdom, and France. At the same time, he emphasized that this issue cannot be resolved without Russia, reports kommersant.ru. The day before, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that France, the United Kingdom, and Germany are ready to deploy their troops on Ukrainian territory as part of a peace agreement. French President Emmanuel Macron said that the European allies and Washington agreed that future security guarantees should include support for the Ukrainian army and the establishment of security forces at sea, in the air, and on land.
