The Anticoruptie portal published an audio recording sent by an anonymous citizen, in which a voice resembling that of former DA Platform leader Dinu Plingau discusses the party’s strategy regarding PAS. In the recording, Plingau acknowledges that his participation in the elections on the PAS list could be perceived as a hidden political bloc: “PAS has money to burn, enough for at least two campaigns. We don’t need to do anything. Those who want to work for PAS should do so quietly. Leaders would be better off not getting involved publicly,” reports libertv.md. It follows from the conversation that Plingau’s plan concerns the period after the elections, when “everyone will gather in the party” to decide the future of the DA Platform. He also spoke about the possibility of attracting people from the PAS list, from “civil society”, to restore the parliamentary group under the brand of the DA Platform: “After 28 September, we will gather and see whether we will join PAS in the majority, agree on ministries and agencies, or remain in opposition and criticize PAS. I have no issue with either option”.
