Home / World / Trump: The Hatred Between Zelensky and Putin Is Incomprehensible
U.S. President Donald Trump expressed doubt about the possibility of direct talks between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin due to their deep personal hostility.
Trump once again stated that ending the war in Ukraine has turned out to be much more difficult than he expected, reports bbc.com.
“I thought it would be easy for me. But it turned out to be hard,” Ukrainska Pravda quotes him as saying.
When asked whether the next step could be a trilateral summit, Trump noted that the format does not matter:
“There will be talks – whether you call it a summit or just a meeting doesn’t matter. But I will probably have to take part. They hate each other so much that they can hardly talk.”
