Home / Politics / Gligor: Together Bloc Won’t Withdraw Its Participation in the Parliamentary Elections in PAS’ Favor
The Together bloc will not withdraw its participation in the parliamentary elections in favor of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS). This was stated by one of the leaders of the political formation, Stefan Gligor, during the pre-election debates.
According to him, the Together bloc, which he represents, is “the only credible alternative for citizens disappointed by the last four years of government, which has been marked by failures in the areas of justice and the economy”, writes realitatea.md.
“Our citizens need a reliable, honest and professional option for voting. The Together bloc has taken on this mission, despite the betrayals and attacks it has suffered. We will keep our word,” said Stefan Gligor.
At the same time, he criticized PAS for refusing to form a united pro-European front.
“PAS had the chance to create a broad electoral bloc that would include all honest pro-European forces. However, they preferred narrow party interests and the comfort of Mr Dorin Recean and Igor Grosu,” Gligor noted.
In addition, the Together bloc claims that more than 600,000 citizens remain undecided and that they “deserve an honest and competent choice”.
Recall that yesterday, the electoral bloc “Unirea Națiunii” (“Unification of the Nation”) announced at a press conference held together with Igor Grosu that it was withdrawing from the race for parliamentary seats in favor of the PAS party.
