Ilan Sor stated that the opposition does not recognize the results of the parliamentary elections, which secured a new majority for the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS).
Moreover, the politician, who is currently in Moscow, claims that his Victory bloc will call on people to protest, according to omniаpress.md.
“Yesterday we didn’t see an election, we saw appointments. Yes, we will contest these results; we do not recognize them because there was no election. I am not even mentioning the fact that some parties did not even make it to the vote; they were excluded,” Sor said.
He also noted that he is preparing protests.
“In the coming days, we will discuss an action plan with our colleagues, after which we will call on our voters to take to the streets in protest,” Sor added.
According to the results of Sunday’s elections, PAS received more than 50% of the vote, securing it a majority in the new parliament.
