Home / Politics / Costiuc on the Role of the Democracy at Home in Parliament: We Will Be the Loudest Opposition
The leader of the Democracy at Home Party (PPDA), commenting on the results of the parliamentary elections, criticized the influence of opinion polls, calling them a tool of manipulation.
“Many would have voted differently if it weren’t for the media terror. We were also confident that we would get a good result. Moldovans went against the tide, and I am sincerely grateful to them. We promise to be the loudest opposition to the ruling party, which has had no position for the last four years. This is our first experience in the legislative body, and we will definitely not fail,” said the PPDA leader, as quoted by Radio Moldova.
Vasile Costiuc emphasized the role his party will play in the opposition.
“I reaffirm that our position is the Bucharest-Washington axis. We are a pro-European party with ties to the European Parliament, and we advocate for the development of this state,” the politician added.
