The Central Election Commission recalled this due to the new local government elections, which will take place on 16 November in six settlements. “During the period of restriction of the party’s activities, it is prohibited from participating in elections and referendums, either independently or as part of electoral blocs. The CEC takes note of the Appeal Chamber’s ruling of 25 September and annuls position No. 6 in the appendix to the CEC’s ruling on the list of parties admitted to participate in the new local elections on 16 November,” said CEC Deputy Chairman Pavel Postica, according to infotag.md. This concerns a 12-month restriction on the activities of the Heart of Moldova party. At the request of the Ministry of Justice, the Appeals Chamber also ruled to restrict the activities of the Chance Party, Moldova Mare and the Modern Democratic Party of Moldova. All of them are accused of financial violations, non-transparent financing and financing from abroad.
