The new Moldovan parliament was officially formed after the President of the Constitutional Court, Domnica Manole, presented a report on the election results and the validation of the mandates of the elected deputies at the plenary session.
Manole noted that the elections held on 28 September were conducted in accordance with constitutional principles and electoral legislation, writes rupor.md.
“No violations were identified that could affect the election results and the distribution of seats. All candidates included in the lists are eligible to perform their duties as deputies and have submitted declarations under personal responsibility confirming that there are no restrictions on their participation in the elections,” said the head of the Constitutional Court.
Following the presentation of the report by the President of the Constitutional Court, the 12th Parliament is deemed to have been legally formed.
