Sandu Signed a Decree Appointing Munteanu as Prime Minister of Moldova

The signing of the document followed consultations with the PAS party at the president’s office, during which Alexandru Munteanu was officially nominated as a candidate for the post of head of government. “I wish you success in forming a government that will be able to gain the trust of parliament and meet the most important expectations of citizens: protecting peace, preparing the country for accession to the European Union, strengthening the economy and improving people’s living standards,” Maia Sandu wrote on Facebook. Alexandru Munteanu is an economist, professor and businessman with 25 years of experience in international investment.
