Full List of Candidates for the New Government Announced

The candidate nominated by PAS for the position of prime minister, Alexandru Munteanu, has revealed the composition of his team in the new government. Together with the candidates for ministerial positions, he will seek a vote of confidence in parliament. “Our priority is to ensure economic growth alongside a professional government team that will make sure the Republic of Moldova is ready to join the EU in the coming years,” said the prime ministerial candidate. The government’s program has been named “EU, Peace, Development.” It is worth noting that several ministers will retain their positions in the new cabinet: Vladimir Bolea as Minister of Infrastructure, Cristina Gherasimov as Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Mihai Popsoi as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dan Perciun as Minister of Education, Ludmila Catlabuga as Minister of Agriculture, Daniella Misail-Nichitin as Minister of Internal Affairs, Dorin Junghietu as Minister of Energy, and Anatolie Nosatii as Minister of Defense. Alexei Buzu, currently Minister of Labor, will lead the Government Chancellery.
