Ion Chicu, in turn, noted that, in his opinion, the discussions were real. “I would like people's problems to be heard and solved. (...) We have passed on the proposals of the Alternativa bloc, which were formulated during meetings with people. It is crucial to be pragmatic. We also talked about the new budget structure. The candidate for the post of prime Minister acknowledged that this is a framework program. It is a pity that it looks more like an election program,” Ion Ceban said. “What they presented to the public cannot be called a program. It is discreditable from the very beginning. It’s more like the coursework of a student who may not complete a year,” Ion Chicu said. According to Chicu, during consultations with the candidate for the post of Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, issues of the country’s economic development were also discussed. “I recommended him to focus on the economic potential of the country. Loans and assistance cannot be a determining factor of economic growth,” Chicu said. Representatives of the Alternativa faction stressed that they would decide to support the government formed by Alexandru Munteanu if the document was adjusted before the government’s program was presented to Parliament.
