The Speaker of Parliament and leader of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), Igor Grosu, stated that there were no discussions regarding the entry of MPs Dinu Plingău and Stela Macari into PAS.
According to Grosu, both parliamentarians have complete freedom of action, which was evident in how they expressed their positions during the last parliamentary session. The statements were made on the TVR Moldova program “Punctul pe Azi”, realitatea.md reports.
“We respect their decision. In fact, the issue of their joining PAS was not even discussed. Of course, we would like to see them in the PAS faction, but, as they themselves stated, they have the freedom and the right to have their own initiatives and positions,” said Igor Grosu.
The politician emphasized that the independence of the two deputies’ opinions was evident at the last parliamentary session, when they expressed different positions on important decisions in the committees.
“It’s normal and right to have differing opinions, because that’s how the best decisions are made. We understand everything and we are in constant dialogue. If a joint decision is needed, we will make it public,” Grosu added.
