One of the opposition leaders, socialist Igor Dodon, welcomes the presence of European Parliament President Roberta Metsola in Chisinau. “We welcome the visit of the President of the European Parliament. Any foreign visit aimed at strengthening the image of the Republic of Moldova is welcome. We will attend the meeting and listen to the president’s speech; this is reasonable and appropriate. I do not understand those who will boycott the meeting, if they do so”, the politician said, according to realitatea.md.
