Ion Bulmaga has been dismissed from his position as head of the Environmental Inspectorate, and Ivan Bocancea has been dismissed from his position as deputy director of the National Road Transport Agency.
Viorel Garaz has been dismissed from his position as State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization. At the same time, Ion Dodon’s mandate as CEO of the National Health Insurance Company has been extended, according to rupor.md.
Bulmaga himself said that the decision to dismiss him was expected: “After talking with the current Minister of the Environment, I was told directly that I was not part of his team... Today I was invited to the government, and as a result of the conversation, I will be dismissed from my position on 26 November 2025”.
He highlighted the achievements of his term: “The Inspectorate is equipped with 34 cars, 100 laptops, 15 drones with thermal imaging cameras, body cameras, tablets, a modern boat... for me, the most important thing is the recognition of citizens”.
State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development Viorel Garaz, who is also leaving his post, linked the personnel changes to the new economic situation in the country: “The situation has changed in the European community, the cost of living has risen not only here but also there, and I am glad that the wave of [Moldovan citizens] returning home has already begun... You can easily earn between €700 and €1,000 in Moldova. If you have your own home, family, parents and relatives nearby, there is no need to save money abroad”.
These reshuffles reflect both internal changes in the leadership of state structures and an emphasis on supporting socio-economic processes, including the return of labor migrants and the strengthening of national institutions.
In addition, Ion Dodon has extended the mandate of the Director General of the National Health Insurance Company.
