During a parliamentary session, Vlad Batrincea, deputy speaker and member of the PSRM, stated that local governments in Moldova had not received more than 3 billion lei from the state budget. Batrincea demanded an explanation from Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, noting that in 2025, local authorities did not receive more than 60% of the funds allocated for regional development. In addition, important infrastructure projects in the regions were not financed, according to noi.md. Experts estimate that nearly 3 billion lei never reached the local authorities. The deputy stressed that the government must explain why these funds were not allocated for regional development.
