This was announced by Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov. According to him, Moscow is currently reviewing this proposal. “We are currently examining all the details, while hoping to establish contact with the American side in order to clarify all the nuances,” Peskov told reporters, according to kommersant.ru. That was his response to the question of whether Moscow and Washington were in contact regarding the settlement in the Gaza Strip. The task of the Peace Board created by US President Donald Trump is to resolve the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian movement Hamas. Among the participants are US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner. Proposals for membership were also sent to leaders of various countries, such as Turkish President Recep Erdogan. On 17 January, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the composition of the Peace Board had not been agreed with Israel and contradicted its policy.
