Home / Politics / Plingau on His Future in PAS: We Will Analyze Party Issues in the Spring
MP Dinu Plingau claims that he does not intend to leave the PAS parliamentary faction at the moment, citing the effective cooperation within the specialized commission in which he is a member.
The parliamentarian noted that his work in the European Integration Committee is constructive, which makes him remain in the current parliamentary composition, according to ipn.md.
“I must admit that I have very good cooperation, and I feel comfortable in the European Integration Committee. There is good cooperation not only between the majority deputies, but also between the opposition and the government,” Dinu Plingau said on the Rezoomat program on RealitateaTV.
Regarding possible party changes, the deputy indicated that he had held negotiations with PAS chairman Igor Grosu, but the final decision would be made later within the party structures.
“As for party issues, we have discussed with Mr. Grosu how we will proceed. The faction is a form of organization in Parliament, but we will analyze party issues in the spring. PAS and DA Platform will hold their own congresses. We will discuss party topics at party forums. I will negotiate with DA Platform,” Dinu Plingau explained.
The PAS deputy clarified that although he is close to the Dignity and Truth Platform, he is not a member of this political party. “I am not a member of the DA Platform, but I have stated that I am close to the DA Platform. I participate in meetings and meet with colleagues from the DA Platform,” Dinu Plingau added.
