This is an important moment for all Romanians, who are celebrating the strengthening of ties between the two banks of the Prut River. In recent years, each of us has felt the constant support of Romania. Romania has been by our side during the pandemic, and it has been supporting us for more than four years, even though we are at war on our border,” the speaker said, according to deschide.md. Igor Grosu noted that Romania also supports Moldova when its citizens are left in the cold and darkness. “Romania supports us on the path of European integration and came to our aid quickly when the Dniester River was polluted as a result of Russia’s aggression in Ukraine. We thank Romania and wish you congratulations, dear Romanians,” he concluded. After this message, most of the deputies, with the exception of the PSRM and PCRM factions, stood up and applauded in appreciation of Romania’s continued support.
