This was announced by the Minister for Social Protection, Natalia Plugaru. She noted that the authorities are focusing on identifying sources of funding to provide compensation for utility bills during the cold season. No special payments are planned in connection with the Easter holidays, according to realitatea.md. “We plan to allocate a budget of 9 million lei, primarily for children from vulnerable families. But this is not directly linked to the Easter holidays. We are currently identifying families with children in vulnerable situations. They will receive this one-off payment,” explained Plugaru. In 2025, vulnerable families in Moldova received state assistance for the Easter holidays. Approximately 230,000 people received up to 5,000 lei.
