NATO and Moldova to Discuss Regional Security in Chisinau

Moldova’s Parliament will host the 109th Rose-Roth Seminar on October 6-7, focusing on Euro-Atlantic integration and regional stability. The international forum is being organized jointly with the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA), reports rupor.md. MPs, government officials, diplomats and experts from various countries will travel to the capital. The event’s main guest will be NATO PA President Marcos Perestrello, who is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu. The seminar’s agenda includes discussions on Moldova’s security in the context of the war in Ukraine, the resilience of energy infrastructure from the Black Sea to the Persian Gulf, as well as the development of the partnership between Chisinau and NATO. Particular attention will be paid to Moldova’s role as an outpost and a factor of stability in the region. As Parliament noted, the NATO PA brings together 281 lawmakers from 32 NATO member and partner countries. Since October 2025, the Republic of Moldova has held official status as a partner for comprehensive security within the organization.
