Gazprom in the first half of 2018 delivered to Moldova (including Transnistria) 1 billion 540 million cubic meters of natural gas, which is 14.2% more than in the same period in 2017, says the statement of the Russian gas concern. In January-June of the previous year, there were supplied 1 billion 349 million cubic meters of natural gas to Moldova, reports InfoMarket.md. According to Gazprom, the Russian gas holding in 2017 supplied Moldova (including Transnistria) with about 2 billion 712 million cubic meters of natural gas, which is 8.2% less than in 2016. It should be noted that the National Agency for Energy Regulation has not yet released data on purchases of natural gas by Moldova in physical and value terms for the entire 2017 and from the beginning 2018. Contracts between Gazprom and Moldovagaz for gas supply to Moldovan consumers and transit of gas through the territory of the Republic of Moldova are valid until the end of 2019.
