Russia is ready to fully use new gas pipelines and preserve the possibility of gas transit to Europe through Ukraine, said Russian President Vladimir Putin at a joint press conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić. According to Mr. Putin, in 2018 Russian gas exports amounted to 200 billion cubic meters and this figure continues to grow.

Earlier, representatives of Gazprom and Naftogaz confirmed their presence at the trilateral ministerial meeting on gas between Russia, Ukraine and the European Commission, which will be held on January 21. Previous gas transit talks were held in Berlin on July 17, 2018.
