According to her, the parties discussed the publication of the results of Robert Mueller's investigation, the situation in Venezuela and North Korea, as well as the possibility of extending the Treaty on measures for further reduction and limitation of strategic offensive arms, the conclusion of a new similar agreement between Russia, the U.S. and China.
Sanders also said that there was a “very positive conversation”.
The Kremlin confirmed the conversation.
“The conversation between Trump and Putin lasted almost an hour and a half”, said Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
However, he didn’t give details of conversation, having promised to do it later.
Earlier Peskov said that
negotiating with the leader of the DPRK Donald Trump goes beyond its home region, while Russia acts in its own.
